MOVIE HELP FILE This for the Internet deficient individuals who have problems view this media file. 1. This movie is not the typical AVI file that can be played on Windows Media Player or while your are on the internet. 2. You need to download the file to your hard drive. You do this by right-clicking on the the link and clicking on Save Target As or just double clicking on the link 3. Once you downloaded the file you will notice the extension is .zip which means it is a zip file. It is an Archive file which allows me to reduce the size of file by compressing it. 4. To unzip the file (i.e. decompress it) you need a program called WINZIP most likely you should have it on the computer you are using. If not download the program at Winzip.com. 5. So now if you double click on the zipped movie file you have downloaded. Winzip Wizard will start. 6. Now just click on NEXT button. 7. Then it may ask you if you want to add the folder to your favorite folders, click on either yes or no it doesn't matter. 8. Then click on Unzip Now button . 8b. If there is a password it will will ask you for it. Just type http://iverson.cjb.net (don't cut 'n' paste). 9. Now a folder will popup with unzipped, decompressed media file. 10. You will notice it has a .rm extension. This is Real Player Media file. I use this than AVI files for longer movies as it provides a smaller file size and much better audio quality. 11. You need Real Player to run
this file. If you don't have this program you can download it at Real.com
for free. It is worth getting this program because it is the new
medium for internet movie files. 13. If these helpful instructions above couldn't help you, then I am sure the computer you are using is not yours and you should ask the owner for help. Surely they can can give you a more detailed instruction to view the movie file. |
